LesaJewel · Lesa Jewelry Co., Limited
Last updated: August 31, 2026 · Applies to https://www.lesajewel.lat
These terms form the agreement between you and the workshop. They cover orders, commissions, payments, delivery, warranty, and what happens if something goes wrong. Please read them before you confirm an order; confirming an order means you accept them.
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the website at https://www.lesajewel.lat and every order, commission, repair, or wholesale arrangement you place with Lesa Jewelry Co., Limited. By browsing the site, submitting an inquiry, confirming a quotation, delivering a piece for repair, or making a payment, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or place an order.
You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a purchase contract, or that you act with the authorization of an organization that is. If you use the site on behalf of a company, you confirm that you may bind that company to these terms. These terms, together with the written quotation or invoice for a specific order, form the whole agreement for that order. Where a signed quotation contains a special condition, that condition prevails over these terms for that order only.
The website and the jewelry services described on it are developed and operated by the developer LesaJewel for Lesa Jewelry Co., Limited, a company with its office at Rm A17 29/F Legend Tower, 7 Shing Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Hong Kong (HK). We design, manufacture, source, and restore fine jewelry from a working bench in Kwun Tong, and we serve private clients, boutiques, and wholesale partners in more than forty countries.
References to we, us, the company, and the workshop in these terms mean Lesa Jewelry Co., Limited. References to you mean the client, buyer, or user of the site. You can reach the concierge desk by email at support@lesajewel.lat or by telephone at +17699005545 during the business hours listed on the contact page. Nothing in these terms prevents you from asking us to clarify any clause before you order; we would rather explain a term in advance than argue about it later.
The site is offered to individuals and organizations that can form legally binding contracts. Minors may browse the site, but orders must be placed by an adult. By placing an order you confirm that the details you provide are accurate, that the payment method you use belongs to you or is authorized for your use, and that you are not subject to sanctions or restrictions that prohibit the purchase of jewelry from a Hong Kong company.
We may refuse an order, decline a quotation, or end a working relationship if we reasonably believe an order involves unlawful activity, fraudulent payment, sanctioned parties, or the misuse of our designs and photographs. In such cases we refund any cleared payment for goods not yet made and explain the refusal to the extent the law allows.
The workshop provides six connected services: custom jewelry design, fine jewelry manufacturing, gemstone sourcing and certification, jewelry repair and restoration, wholesale and private label production, and worldwide shipping and packaging. Descriptions of each service appear on the services page and in written quotations. A quotation states the materials, the maker, the milestone dates, and the total price, and it forms the technical specification of the order when you confirm it.
Jewelry made by hand varies within fine tolerances: a millimeter difference in a hammered texture, a slight shade shift between casting batches, or the natural variation of a pearl or an emerald is a feature of craft, not a defect. We describe such variation honestly in drawings and photographs before production, and finished pieces match the approved drawing within the tolerances stated there. Photographs of finished pieces are taken under studio light; color may look different in daylight, warm indoor light, or on different screens.
A commission begins with an inquiry and proceeds through sketches, a stone plan, and a written quotation. The quotation is valid for the period stated in it, typically 14 days, because metal prices and stone availability move. When you confirm a quotation in writing and pay the required deposit, the commission enters the production schedule and the specification is locked. Changes after that point follow section 7.
You are responsible for the accuracy of sizes, engraving texts, and personal details you provide. We recommend having a ring sized by a jeweler before confirming; resizing a finished piece may be possible but carries the fee and risk described in section 9. For reset heirlooms, you keep ownership of the original stones and metal throughout, and we return replaced parts with the finished piece. We may photograph the finished commission for our records and, only with your written permission, share it as an example of our work.
All prices are stated in the currency shown on the quotation and are calculated from the metal weight, stone cost, labor hours, and finishing steps of the order. quotations separate these components where possible so you can see what you pay for. Payment terms are stated on the quotation and invoice: commissions customarily require a deposit to open the workshop card and the balance before dispatch, while ready-to-wear pieces and repairs are paid in full at confirmation.
We accept the payment methods listed on the invoice and do not add surcharges for any of them. You are responsible for bank fees on your side, for import duties, and for taxes in your jurisdiction, which we estimate in writing on request before dispatch. Prices do not include duties. If a payment is reversed, disputed, or fraudulent, we may pause production, retain the unpaid piece, and pursue the amount owed through the channels described in section 18.
Before you approve a sketch, changes are free and expected. After the specification is locked and the deposit is paid, changes are possible only while the relevant stage has not started: a stone can often be swapped before seats are cut, an engraving can change before the piece reaches the engraver, and a metal choice can change only if casting has not begun. Each accepted change is quoted, and the timeline shifts by the real amount of work involved.
Cancellations after confirmation are handled as follows. If no material has been purchased and no work has started, the deposit is refunded minus the design time stated in the quotation. If casting, stone setting, or engraving has begun, we deduct the costs already incurred, which we document with the workshop card, and refund the remainder. Custom pieces that reach completion cannot be cancelled, because they were made to your specification. Ready-to-wear cancellations follow section 9. Repairs can be cancelled before work starts at no charge.
Finished pieces and completed repairs travel in padded, tamper-evident, fully insured parcels with tracking, to more than forty countries. The quotation states the shipping method and the expected transit time. Dispatch times are estimates from the workshop; transit times belong to the courier, and delays caused by customs, weather, or carrier backlogs are outside our control, though we chase every delayed parcel and keep you informed.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provided, or to the person you authorized to receive the parcel. If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, tell us within 7 days of the expected delivery date, and we will open the insurance claim and remake or repair the piece under it. Import duties and taxes, where they apply, are the responsibility of the recipient and are not collected by us. A parcel that cannot be delivered because of a wrong address and is returned to us can be resent once the correct address is confirmed, with the reshipping cost borne by you.
Ready-to-wear pieces from our collections can be returned within 14 days of delivery, unworn and in original condition with the packaging and certificate set, for a refund of the purchase price minus the original shipping cost. Write to support@lesajewel.lat before shipping anything back; we assign a return reference and give you the insured route. Earrings for pierced ears and body jewelry are excluded from return for hygiene reasons unless defective.
Custom commissions, engraved pieces, and resized items are made to your specification and cannot be returned for change of mind. If a custom piece does not fit, tell us within 30 days of delivery: the first simple resize, where the design allows it, is done at the workshop for the cost of shipping only. If a piece arrives with a defect in materials or workmanship, sections 10 and 11 apply, and we will remake or repair it at our cost, including shipping both ways. Stones supplied with certificates cannot be exchanged once set, because the certified stone is part of the specification you approved.
Every piece we make carries a written warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for 24 months from delivery. The warranty covers loose settings caused by faulty seat work, structural failures of the metal under normal wear, faulty clasps and joints, plating failures on pieces we plated, and defects in stones we supplied that a recognized laboratory attributes to treatment undisclosed to us. The warranty is documented on the service note that travels with the piece, and it transfers with the piece if you give it to someone.
The warranty does not cover loss of stones after impact, damage from accidents, misuse, unauthorized repair by others, wear described in section 11, or damage from exposing the piece to chemicals that jewelry is not designed to survive, such as pool chlorine or silver dip. To make a claim, contact the concierge desk with photographs and the service note; we inspect the piece, explain our findings in writing, and repair, remake, or refund at our discretion and at our cost when the claim is valid.
Fine jewelry is durable but not indestructible. Every parcel includes a care card describing how to clean, store, and wear the specific metal and stones in the piece. In summary: remove rings before gym work, gardening, and swimming; store pieces separately to avoid scratching; clean gold with mild soap and warm water; keep pearls away from perfume and heat; and bring the piece to the bench for professional cleaning and prong checks at least once a year, which is free for pieces we made.
Normal wear is expected and is not a defect: fine scratches on polished surfaces develop with use, high-polish finishes soften to a satin look, rhodium on white gold thins over years, and the metal of a thin ring gradually rounds at the base. Lifetime bench polishing restores the finish on pieces we made at no labor charge; you pay only shipping. Worn prongs and thin shanks detected at an annual check are quoted openly before any work is done.
The content of the site, including text, layout, drawings, photographs, and the gemstone graphics, is owned by Lesa Jewelry Co., Limited or licensed to it, and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use, such as showing a design to your family. You may not copy, republish, or use our photographs, drawings, or texts for commercial purposes without written permission.
Designs deserve a separate note. When you commission a custom piece and approve a drawing, you receive a license to reproduce that drawing in the finished jewelry and in personal photographs of it. The workshop retains the right to display the piece in its portfolio only with your written permission, as stated in section 5. When you send us a design of your own, section 14 governs its use. Wholesale partners receive reproduction rights for their own commissioned models under the private label agreement signed with the company.
You agree to use the site lawfully and respectfully. You must not attempt to breach or test the security of the site, probe or scan for vulnerabilities, interfere with the service, scrape pages at a volume that degrades performance, or submit false, misleading, or automated inquiries. You must not use the site to transmit malware, spam, or content that is unlawful, harassing, or infringing.
You must not misrepresent your identity, use the payment instrument of another person without authority, or place orders with the intention of obtaining drawings or quotations for a purpose other than an honest purchase. We may limit or block access for behavior that threatens the site or the workshop, and we may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities. If you believe someone is misusing our name or our content, tell us at support@lesajewel.lat so we can act.
When you send photographs, sketches, measurements, heirloom histories, or other material for a quotation or a commission, you keep ownership of your material and you grant us a limited license to use it for the purpose of the work: to draw from your photograph, to match a stone to your description, to engrave your text, and to keep the workshop record of the job. We do not use your material for marketing without separate written permission, as stated in sections 5 and 12.
You confirm that material you send does not infringe the rights of others. If you ask us to engrave or reproduce a design owned by someone else, we may request proof that you hold the rights, and we may decline work that appears to infringe. Do not send material that is unlawful or that you would not want a workshop employee to see; the design desk reviews everything that arrives.
The site is provided on an as is and as available basis. We work hard to keep the pages accurate and available, but we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components, and we do not warrant that the colors and finishes shown on your screen match the physical piece exactly, for the reasons described in section 4. Written quotations, invoices, and service notes are the authoritative documents for any order; marketing text on the site is descriptive and does not vary those documents.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including statutory consumer rights. Descriptions of gemstones, treatments, and origins rely on the declarations of our suppliers and the certificates of recognized laboratories; we pass on certificate information faithfully and we verify it against the stone in hand before setting, as described on the services page.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of Lesa Jewelry Co., Limited for any claim arising out of or in connection with an order, a repair, or the use of the site is limited to the amount you actually paid to us for the order or service that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or the sentimental value of a piece, even if we were advised such losses were possible.
Nothing in this section limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. If you deliver an heirloom or a stone of exceptional value for repair, tell us its value in writing before work starts so we can arrange insurance to match; undeclared items travel and rest at the standard insured value stated on the repair intake form. Where liability falls on us under section 8 for a parcel lost in transit, compensation follows the insured value of the parcel.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lesa Jewelry Co., Limited, its workshop team, and its representatives against claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from material you provided that infringes the rights of a third party, from your breach of these terms, or from your unlawful use of the site. This protection does not extend to claims caused by our own negligence, our breach of these terms, or the acts of our suppliers within the scope of our instructions.
If a claim of that kind is brought against us, we will notify you promptly, allow you to participate in the defense where the law allows, and settle nothing without consulting you unless we must act to protect the workshop. Wholesale partners hold the indemnity described here toward their own clients under the private label agreement, and nothing in that agreement reduces the rights their clients hold against us for defects we caused.
These terms and every order are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict of law rules that would apply another body of law. The courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that cannot be resolved by discussion, except where the consumer protection law of your country of residence grants you the right to bring proceedings locally.
Before starting formal proceedings, please write to support@lesajewel.lat with the subject line Dispute and a description of the problem. The concierge desk will open a formal review, a senior maker will re-examine the piece if one exists, and we will answer within 14 days with a proposed resolution. Most disagreements end there, because workshop cards and photographs document every step. This informal step does not shorten any limitation period, and you may seek interim relief from a court at any time if the situation requires it.
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the workshop, in the law, or in the way the site works. The current version always lives on this page, and the last updated date at the top changes with it. For material changes, we add a short notice on the homepage for 30 days before the new version takes effect.
An order confirmed before an update continues under the version in force when it was confirmed, except where the change is required by law or protects you. If a quotation was signed with its own terms, those terms continue to govern that order. Continued use of the site after a change takes effect means you accept the updated version, so please review this page when you return to place a new order.
If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision is narrowed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions continue in force. A waiver of one breach is not a waiver of any later breach, and our delay in enforcing a right is not a decision to abandon it. Rights under these terms may be exercised at any time within the limits set by the applicable limitation periods.
These terms, together with the quotation, invoice, and service note of a specific order, form the entire agreement between you and the company regarding that order, and they replace any earlier discussion, sketch note, or draft. The section headings exist for reading comfort and do not change the meaning of the clauses. Where these terms exist in more than one language, the English version governs.
Everything about these terms, from a clarification request to a formal dispute, starts at the concierge desk. Write to support@lesajewel.lat or call +17699005545 during business hours, Monday to Friday from 09:30 to 18:30 and Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00, Hong Kong time. Letters reach the office at Lesa Jewelry Co., Limited, Rm A17 29/F Legend Tower, 7 Shing Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Hong Kong (HK).
If your question concerns privacy rather than orders, the Privacy Policy on this site tells you where to write. If your question concerns a specific commission, include the quotation number so the desk can open the correct workshop card before replying. We answer every written inquiry within one business day.
